Sorting Submissons and Success
Congratulations to the writers, artists and photographers who have been accepted into the anthology.
The submissions team met together twice last week. After reading all the pieces, and after much debate, the submissions have been chosen. There are a few last minute details to be sorted out- such as checking that we haven’t accepted more submissions than we can deal with.I would like to say a huge thank you to Elaine, Pippa, Amy, Angela (and Jaime), Christian, Steven, Di, Sadie, Sam, Matt and Lisa, for reading and sharing their opinions.
Some pieces, for various reasons, did not make it into the anthology. But we encourage students to try again next year. We have a varied, talented collection of students at this university, which is why the anthology is here, to showcase their work.
All contributors will be contacted shortly, and will be told which pieces have been accepted into the anthology- watch this space.
We have reached the next step in producing this book. I don’t think I do a good job of controlling my excitement, so I’ll pop off now and get on with the rather lengthy ‘to do’ list (which I’m sure has become sentient and grows when I’m not looking.)
